Born in North Africa and grown in the sunny '70s, Charles had been initiated since the age of 6 to
Theory & Solfeggio and Vocal technique by his uncle Philip Burgi,
a Grand Opera Tenor performer
and Maestro di Canto, and privately trained to the drill of Piano and Harmony.
Ended up the french high-school time, Charles went to Italy where he had been admitted into one of the most prestigious
music college, the G. VERDI Conservatory of Milan.
Between 1978-1985, he studied Harmony and Counterpoint under M° Bruno Bettinelli
and M° Danilo Lorenzini, and proceeded Piano studies under M°
Antonio Beltrami.
Charles awarded the Diploma of Pianoforte in 1986.
In the same time, he had been allowed to the M° Azio Corghi's Contemporary Writing
and Composition masterclass, one of the most important italian composers of nowadays, who enlightened him to the art of
Orchestration.
Under Azio Corghi's skillful Composition teaching experience,
Charles awarded the Diploma of Music Composition in 1988.
Throughout the end of the '80s and the starting of the '90s, he got accustomed to Music Production, operating as a
producer, arranger, conductor, pianist and audio/MIDI programmer with various ensembles, bands and young artists.
